Lures in tackle boxes

With all the different hard body lures about, how to guys go about storing your HB's in tackle boxes and remembering what they do. Ie, some are suspending, diving or floating. How do you tell the difference after a while as a lot all look the same. Do you label them on the box ?

just a simple plain white sticker at the top of each slot with whatever you want written on it.
hope this helps.

I have 4 medium sized trays, marked with jigheads, crank baits, minnows and surface/vibes. I also carry a small tray with the smaller sized jigheads used for breaming (the bigger one carries mainly flathead jigs).
I can remember what each lure basically does, and its normally easy to work out the diving depth by the size of the bib.
I carry spare spools/trebles/pincettes/split rings in a shimano reel bag that sits besides the 4 trays in my tackle bag.
