Anybody Actually use slams?

iv got to packs of slams but and iv fished em a few times out in port phillip bay and in a few river not even a toadie has gone for em. just woundeing has anyone had succsess on em?

I have caught heaps of flathead and a few pinkies on them in the bay, haven't tried them anywhere else.

oh god...

i hate these lures so much haha.
they are just so stiff so you carnt really put much action into them,
and im not really too fond of there colour schemes either.
although i do hear that some people like em but other donts.
anyways, try em for your self and let us know how you go

they are great....i buy them often BUT...dont eat too many or they make you run to the toilet....


but seriously.....i use them whenever i dont want to catch anything...

they arent that bad, we all know that gulp just catches.. a recent trip to a tassie east coast river saw us catch our biggest bream on slam, i was testing them because they are part of freetime which im sponsered by. Sight casting with the worms worked and the nitro chicken and white minnows caught the big ones..

I think it's a sign when Mo-Tackle has them on special for $4.95 for about 6 months haha

tried the slam cargo worm which is comparable to the gulp camo worm. Didnt have much luck with them!!!

they are good for getting picked apart by leather jackets off the rocks but nothing else.
i would rather eat s factor then fish them
