Dont worry about buying a rod. Invest your Moolah in a space bar.
seriously though, the 2-4kg and 1-3kg are great rods and excellent value for money.

Have 2 trions (1-3kg and 3-6kg) and a trion tourny pro (5-10kg baitcaster) and loooove them. Worth a hell of a lot more than you pay for them. Best rods in the price range by a country mile!

I'd like them except I really fracking HATE HATE HATE when they place the threads above the reel seat. I want to hold onto grip, not screw threads you tosspots!

I have the 2-4kg model and absolutely love it, very light and as previously said, punches WAY above it's price range

okay, the difference between the tournament series and the regular is that the tourny trions have the gator tail feature, which is a rought blank. when rods are built they are usually sanded to make them smooth however the tourny isnt, which means the rod is as strong as possible for its given diameter, they also have these awesome EVA grips.
I own 3 trions. a 2-4kg b/c, a 4-7kg b/c and a 5-12kg bc. and they are awesome. dad owns a trion tournament bream specialist and i have had a flick with it and it didnt take much to convince me to get one. now i just need $129 lol GREAT rods cheers |

Pflueger trion tournament is a great rod for the price and it's my go to rod at the moment. I find that I can cast hard body lures further with the trion compared to my shimano raider ii rod.
