Daiwa RCS Custom Knob new Certate 2500R

Hi guys,

Looking a Daiwa website there are Power Light M, Power Light L, Power Round Knob...out of the 3 which one is suitable for the new Cerate 2500R ? or it's just personal preferences? At the moment i am leading toward the Power Round Knob :-)!

Depends all on what your Certate 2500R will be used for really, I think the Power Light L knob is too big for your reel handle i'm not sure but DA say its between the sizes of 3000-4000 so it may not fit (correct me if i'm wrong). When it comes to these knobs its all about whats most comfortable to hold, for you. I just bought a Power Round Knob and its on my Branzino 3000 and looks mad other then the cosmetic looks the knob feels pretty easy to hold and will cause some major devastation to some Kingies once I find some .

So in term of performance there is no differences between the Power Light M Knob and the Power Round Knob? Just the look am i correct?
Still don't know if i should upgrade it, it's not cheap! My mate told me it's not worth it! :-)

I was not a fan and could not see the point before I had used one. Bought a colossal which comes standard with one and went out and got one to fitted to my certate as soon as I had the cash there great Don't think I will ever go back to the T handle.

Would the "Power Round Knob" be to big (in term of look) on the Certate 2500R ? I wish they have different colours, it would be an awesome look :-) !

Hey mate, I had the round power knob on my old certate 2500r made it look like a mini saltiga or dogfight, but as Ben said a reckon an m sized knob is the go. Cheers mate

M knob is the go without a doubt for the 2500R. (although they are in short supply here in WA as I have had one on order for the Hyper for a few weeks now). I put the L knob on the 3500 HD and it works a treat for that size.

Does anyone know if the "metal RCS cap" is the exact same size for the Power Light M and Power Light S knobs? Can't really tell from the screenshots.
