Markston reels

i hope i have got the brand name spelt right, have seen these reels in 2 retail outlets, they seem good value and feel nice, any commnets?

haven't heard of these reels so can't comment,on appearence though they seem on the cheaper end of the scale.

Thumbs down look at the specs

1 ball bearing, graphite chromed spool.... I know I work for Breammaster guys but you'd be better off sticking to a Kmart outfit for $25.
I would not be comfortable with my expensive fire lines on anything but alloy/metal, and if you were a young kid or new to the sport on a budget, there are nice "Good Quality" reels out there that won't break the bank.
Please ,no offence to Rod, but i'd avoid those ones

geoff P you are wrong, actually 8 ball bearings, nice wooden knob on the handle, 5 year warrantry,
their rep used to work for Okuma
