The reel isn't good value for money if you ask me. The reel may have 8+1 Bearings, but they are stainless steel, not a problem if you are using the reel for freshwater. You can also see lots of cheap plastic on it, for example, the thumb bar is black plastic. Also the colour is hideous. As mentioned by others, save up for another reel or as I recommended, go for the Shimano Citica 200/201E. Awesome value for money at $209. Or you can go for a used reel, you could get some pretty nice reels around the $200 mark. Just save up a little more, it will be worth it.

Cheers,

Daiwafreak

Try buying online from places like DohDohDohDohDohDohDohDoh. You will most likely get far better reels and a better selection.

DohDohDoh will always have some good reels, as long as you are willing to pay top dollar. And no, DohDohDohDohDohDohDohDoh is great, ordered heaps of stuff from them, great service, great products, and great price.

No, DohDohDohDohDohDohDohDoh is usually cheaper than most other places, including DohDohDoh. Example, I've seen the Calais 200DC in most stores for $999, DohDohDohDohDohDohDohDoh have it for $879. Just check out the prices of the reels on DohDohDohDohDohDohDohDoh and you will see.

support your local tackle shop, the private guys, they will nearly always give you a better price than a chain store like anaconda or DohDohDoh, and if you shop at your local on a regular basis they will always look after you
