Daiwa Sensor braid, How much?

Hey guys,

Just recently purchased a shimano stradic FI 1000. And I am wondering 2 things. What is the diameter of 6lb daiwa sensor braid. (it doesn't say on the on the spool at all) and how much would fit on a 1000 size reel. Cause i notice my mate (breampoppa). Got his stradic he put nitlon on his reel and would have lost about 50 yards of line due to birdnest. And because daiwa sensor braid is $75 per 150 yards, I want it to last as long as possibe.
Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

well i got a 150yd spool of fins 4lb braid on my saros 1000. apparently fins has a thicker diametre so you should have no probs getting all of that on your stradic.

its a pe braid you will fit the whole lot and probably a hundred yards of backing if you spool it up properly

if u tie that brid straight to the spool u will fill up about a third of the spool, you will need about 1/2 to 2/3 backing, its a guessing game

if it has a spare spool you can run the braid onto the spare spool and fill it with the backing on top then just reverse it onto the spool you want to you so it fits perfect everytime

Cheers Boris

p.s. braid won't tie down tight onto a spool cause the knot is spread to far apart to grip onto the spool itself (uni knot only i think)
