etec 300 hour service

my etec is just about due for its 300 hour service.in two years it has never missed a beat,sounds as good as the first day i started it up and took it full throttle from the tweed river mouth to murwillumba at 5200rpm.i am getting different quotes for the job,some vary by as much as $200.the yard i want to do the service is the most expensive and i wil probably be going there ,but am just wondering if any etec owners of 40-60hp(non tiller)can shed some light on what was replaced,costs,etc.cheers.

take it in before the 300 hours is up,to ensure you still have warrenty for any issues that may be found

never give it to them and just say do a service

Take it to Steve Kanowski at River City Marine, 133 Sandgate Road, Breakfast Creek Brisbane 07 3326 7666. He carried out my 300 hour service on recommendation on a 115 etec and I couldn't be happier with the service and the price. Well worth the drive and Steve is a keen tournament bass / bream fisherman.
