Tassie Bream

Hi all,

Has anyone from tassie caught any bream lately??

I haven't been out for ages. Also does anyone have any spots they wouldn't mind sharing on either the north or east coast???

Hi,
The only North and East Coast spots I know are those you'd be familiar with already ie. Ansons, Scamander, Swan, Swanport etc plus all the myriad of lagoons in that area.
Generally (and I'm thinking southern Tassie here) the bream fishing this time of year is a bit mediocre. You could certainly pull a couple of decent fish on bait if you're desperate but, by and large, the artificial scene tends to be pretty quiet. Exceptions do occur of course.
