The Polly Woodside is an old, wooden sailing ship.
It is permanently moored in a cutting off the Yarra right out the front of the melbourne Exhibition Centre (Jeff's shed). It isn't in the precinct typically called "docklands" at all. The lower Yarra from Richmond down to where it joins the Maribyrnong just above Westgate Bridge can be a good spot to fish for Bream, just walk along the banks in all the accessible areas and cast your lures and work them in fairly close. With all this rain lately I think only the lower stretches of the river below Westgate Bridge would be worthwhile, or the "docklands" (Victoria Dock) itself. Don't be afraid to try the city section of the river though, it is a salt-wedge estuary and can have clean(er) salt water under the dirty/muddy fresh top layer, I just wouldn't spend a lot of time if you aren't getting fish in that section of the river.
