Ascot ponds!!!

heyyy
the other day i was siting on my bike watching some people fish at the pond in ascot near the race course and they were bringing in a phew real nice bream 35+ until this random car came down and said cant yous see the no fishing signs?? wiles they were taking pictures?? i later that day went searching for the signs and did not find 1 sign saying anything about no fishing?

they spawn in there , but few baitoes know this and keep them , only there for few days year , and thats been and gone

mate the only place where you cant fish is between the bridges inside ascot waters. you can fish the ponds when you like and how long you like.
a few residents get it wrong from time to time but when your between the bridges and your fishing the residents will soon let you know pretty fast.

i heard rumours that the marina in the near future might have a proposed sanctuary zone set up but otherwise around there and in the ponds is def worth a crack.
for anyone in the know can the shire of belmont set up a sanctuary zone or is it only CALM or the fisheries that can do so?
