Shallow's run at about 30 - 40cm. You can go shallower or deeper if you raise/drop the rod tip on retrieve.

Cheers

Any suggestions for something that will run to 3-4ft. Needs to be a good caster, and floating

CK give the Bassday Kangoku Shad a go. It runs to 1.2 metres and casts like a rocket. From memory there are some on this forum going for a song. If i had the coin, id be all over it.

Cheers Nick

The Damiki Saemi's dive to 1.5m and cast nicely, definitely worth a look.

"G'day Nick
Yeah like the look of them. Like u if only I had the coin.
1.2m is arounf the same depth as the SX48's I've been using so wondered if there is anything in between them & the shallow jackall.

Iceman dude, are these the Daimiki's u speak of?

Chubby Minnows would dive around that depth I think, and they cast great.

Sounds like you after a Sugar deep 35. They do not have the casting capacity of the Kangokus, but have a great profile and action.
