"R" as ?

Couldn’t find better place to ask, cause i’m thinking to buy some reel.

First choice Daiwa Certate Vintage Custom 2500, but...
What’s that with that sign „R“, e.g. Certate Vintage Custom 2500R?

I thought it’s reel of size 2500 with mechanism of 3500/4000, but i’m not so sure anymore...

Thnx

Ivan

It means that the reel has a 2500 sized spool and rotor assembly but a 3000 sized body and internals hope this helps

The daiwa certate vintage 2500r is a pretty hard reel
to come by if you can find one around.
