Bream Rod Blanks

Hi guys

After some input on good perfoming blanks to make some bream rods from.

I currently have a Nitro vapor 7' 1-3kg with a twinpower 1000 4lb fluro/ 2lb stren. I quite like this setup a little more for SPs.

Moving on, I'm after suggestions of blanks from 6'10 to 7'8 in ranges from 1-5kg (any combination within)

What I'm trying to achieve is have a few rods for different uses, 1 for long casting both HBs and SPs by using braid or fluro ( regularly fish from land). A rod for using HB and vibes. And finally a rod for SPs.

I'm liking the Loomis sr842-2 2-4kg 2pc for the HB

What would the CTS Elite Spin Tournament 1-4Kg suit.

The longer rod would need to be 2pc really cause anything over 7' just is a pain to carry in the car.

Will be just basic rods with good guides and comfy reel seats, most likely only the longer rod will get a split butt for 2 hand casting. Probably the new stradic CI4 will go on them. Live in Qld so only get the yellowfin up to about 1.2kg where I go so that may make a difference.

Thanks
Glenn

I have built two bream rods to date.
A hastings PUR70UL Light tip, fast blank. I like it for soft plastics and light hardbodies. Awesome at throwing light lures.
A Pacific Composites Stealth DHX 842-2. This blank is rated at 1-2kg but feels heaps stonger than that, maybe 1-4. Moderate fast blank, not as light in the tip as the Hastings above. I like it for blades and slightly heavier plastics (1.5g plus).
Both are built with a small split grip (designed borrowed from Hotrods) to allow for two handed casting and cause I think they look better. Cork because I think its better than EVA, reversed because no moving bits under your hands theoretically has to give more sensitivity.
I have a SR842-2 blank which I haven't started on yet. Feels like an awesome blank, more progressive than either of the two above so should be great with hardbodies.

I have also acquired a Lamiglass Rogue River IM700 blank, 7'6" its a little heavier than the bream rods above but a mate has built one and it casts the slightly larger hardbodies like bullets, I think with a sammy 65 on it this will be awesome on the flats over summer.
