Stella or Exist?

Hi all, just wondering what's everyone's preference? I am looking at either the 2500FD stella 09 model or Exist 2508. What would you prefer?

Exist any time .... Daiwa kills Shimano in smaller reels ... in larger reels the opposite is true.

You could start a poll but for bream Exist anyyyy day of the week. Exist is so much lighter and more finesse IMO. Stella is a nice looking reel with all the porting but the Exist is classy with chrome and gun metal

Another vote for the Exist....Switch all mine over about 2 years ago...Love the Stella FB. Once they switched to palladin gearing they just always felt rough. Not something I wanted to feel in a $600 reel. More for my mates down under. I have quite a few 1003 size Exists and they are awesome. My 2004 and 2506 still feel like new and there 2 years old with alot of bass and such caught on them. That all being said the Stella is a great reel too. Just comes down to what feels right for you and what balances and feels right on your rod. Jusy my .02

Interesting to see everyone's point of view. I've used both Daiwa (Luvias) and Shimano (Stradic) before, and both are really nice reel. However I like my luvias more, but then it's not in the same class. It gives me an impression the Stella seems to be more tougher where as Exist is lighter. Hard choice

For Bream or Trout you couldn't go past an Exist....Best spinning reel on the market IMO. Get one of each at the tackle store and have a play.
{yes, even better than the Hyper Exist} and better than the Steeze..........coz it just is!

Cheers.

Depending on the application i reakon, Exist would be one number one choice however something about the Stella that give you a sense that its in a class of its own and you still want to get it.
