Rod Suggestion - Black Diamond Equivalent

Hi guys,

I have a Black Diamond Custom Plus, 6 foot, 1-3kg and LOVE IT.

I'm looking to get another rod with the same action/feel but with a longer butt section (normal length) instead of the shorter butt on the custom plus. And probably looking at 6'6''.

I lot of the 6'6'' rods i've looked at have been fast action and very 'floppy' compared with the custom plus. Just wondering about some rod makes out there that might have a similar feel to them??

Any ideas?

nope, no batson blanks left, they are redily available from the US though.

personally i think the closest blank i can think of would be an original Samurai 002 in a 6 or 6'6 version. they have a sweet med fast taper similar to the batsons that i have felt.
might be an option.
