IM' in Pain

Hey guys
Get this and dont laugh
I was at training tonight (cricket) and the head coach asks me to bowl to the A-Graders coz i was bowling well in my warm up and was generating more pace then usual!
Anyways, i'm stoked with that coz i've worked pretty hard for a promotion.
So i mark my run up and start warming up the back. I lift my head and here a cry of heads up and cop a cricket ball right between the eyes which was thrown from 70m away and was thus carrying some momentum.

Blood ,swelling ,and a lot of pain, a missed chance at a spot in A- grade ,and a black eye.
How unlucky am i!!!!!!!

Unlucky kingpin,
I play indoor cricket and has copt a full blooded drive in the goolies and it smarted

Yep cricket balls hurt.

That's pretty unlucky, I'd say.

My Dad has a similar story - he was selected to trial to play Rugby League for Australia in about 1951. The day before the trial match (that's how they picked the Aussie teams then evidently) he broke his ankle at training. Sad.
