ZPI SIC Bearings for Antares DC7

I am looking to buy ZPI SIC spool bearings for my Antares DC7. The Antares is an extremely smooth reel with the standard S-ARB's. I have used a Calais 100A with ceramic bearings and it is fantastic. I am just not sure if ceramic bearings are necessary for the Antares DC7 since it is already super smooth with the S-ARB's. Will the bearings make my Antares cast further and feel smoother?

Cheers

Daiwafreak the best person to ask would be Jack Erskine. Shoot him an email. You can get that from his site.

nah abec 7 won't make any noticable difference on dc7, it's got abec 5 already.

and abec 7 upgrades will never make a reel smoother

fully ceramic bearings is very costly........4 of them is round about the 500-600 mark.is it worth it for even the top of the range baitcaster?.stick with shimano ARB bearings and dont even bother to source abec 7 as theres not much different between them for most people anyway.http://www.diymtb.com.au/ for more info regards the ABEC ratings.

Haha, nah mate, bearings for baitcasting reels. Apparently, replacing the spool bearings with these ceramic bearings improve your reels performance.

Cheers
