Just a White Luvi / ZAION platform, Hybrid spool and EVA handle...should feel a tad lighter but generally the same as a Luvi...

but asthetically she is a stunner ! i saw it a few weeks ago...
and have one on the wish list for summer...
and already have matching rod designed for it !

have a geeze at it there...

compare with our Luvi 2500
LUVIAS 2500 ratio - 4.8, bearings - 7+1, weight - 220, line - 12lb/150m, 16lb/100m, PE 1.5/200m
EMERALDAS 2506 ratio - 4.8, bearings - 8+1, weight - 210 line - PE0.8号-140m、1号-110m PE0.8 140m, 1 #-110m

so 1 extra bearing and Air Spool is the main dif...

pretty much a blinged up luvias that costs and extra couple of hundred i guess...
except they run hyper digigears yeh?
luvias just have digigear?
Also the emeraldas has a 3kg drag and the 2500 luvias runs a 7kg drag or is this just on the 2500 not the 250x
correct me if im wrong?

cheers

For the dough, I'd buy a Steez.

I saw one it was $775.00 To me it felt a bit heavier and a bit too pricey. Looks like a Heartland - Yuck...

I'd say your thinking of the emeralda's colossal? i'd be surprised if its this one dale put up as they have only just been released in japan.
The colossal is heavy because it is practically a hyper certate.

...ahhh, the colossal, sounds like a sweet reel...according to bass.jp

Quote:
It is a high-speed reel equipped with haipa-dejigiya to approach the crown sh!ta monster as for huge squid colossal of the legend. Speciality model presented to multiuses that attacks monster aim with fukaba and intense jerk.
...im not sure whether "intense jerk" is a function of the reel...or a description of tourney anglers

...and i wouldnt recommend "fukaba" with this reel, as it may void the warranty......
