silstar flick sticks

g'day breamers

Was checking out some gear in my local tackle shop the other day and i came across a silstar flick stick with a silstar hypa reel on it (1000). i havent seen these combo's before, but they were charging abit for it (considering ive never heard of them)

anyone know anything about them?

cheers

I saw one ages ago in a sports store up here. (not a tackle shop) and i think the asking price was up around $170 mark.
I decided to stick with the better known brands.

silstar are alright in the lower gear bracket but up to that kind of price is a bit much. they are along the lines of uglysticks etc.

Silstar evograph

I had an evograph for breamin in a two piece which was an awesome rod for just under $100. However I found out after a year they break at the ferris, by then the model had been stopped. If I ever see the one piece version around I will definitely buy it.
