Are spools compatable

I have Dawia Luvius Jap reels and was wondering if the new Luvius spools are inerchangable with the old Luvius reels

just grab a suitable RCS spool. I just bought a certate 2500R fitted with a RCS 2508 spool. Managed to drop the weight of the reel by a fair bit, plus it looks sexy.
