The new Lox rods

I bought two new lox rods from Complete Angler in Nedlands as i went in there to buy a new nitro but them sore the lox and they are a unreal little rod.

What sold me on them is that they are identical to the nitro Vapors. They seem like they have the same blanks. They have the same guides and reel seat, they are the same weight.

They really are a dream rod to fish with. I have the 6'6 and the 7ft but i do personally perfer the 6'6 as 99% of my fishing is sp and 6'6 is just that little bit harder on the tip.

For $240 they are a rod i would rekomend to any one look for a new rod.

So go in and see the boys Complete Angler in Nedlands for a great a deal.

Sorry i haven't worked out how to upload photos yet.

I had a look at the too, they are identical to the Vapors but WAY cheaper. I wish I bought 2 Lox for the price of my 1 Nitro...

Anyone got the actual specs on the "Lox Rods"??? Can't find any info on the net, would be interested to compare them to the nitro vapors. I have a vapor 70ULF and wouldnt swap it for anything at the moment. Love the thing.

The Daiwa Zero rods have a 46 million ton blank (ie. are higher modulus than the Lox blanks).

http://www.daiwafishing.com.au/daiwa...e&product=zero

If these Lox blanks are the same as the Nitro Vapors it just shows how overpriced the Nitro range really are! And to top it off you get a no-name budget ass reel seat.

Daiwa Zero 661MLFS $269rrp
Nitro Vapor 66 $439.95rrp

i own a td zero and they are good rods
but the lox is a much nicer rod to use

judging on the performance of the lox, and for arguments sake
if there was no lox, i could justify quite easily buying a vapour over a td zero any day of the week
