Handle/Knob upgrades for Fuego

I just bought 2 fuego's the old style new for $112 each which i am happy with.

Now what i am unhappy with is the lack of bearing supported knobs.

So anyone know of where i could get an upgrade for them with bearing supported knobs?

pretty sure they have a single bearing ? or bush, cant rememebr as i pimped mine ages ago...

FYI you can put any of the reel four and RCS compatible handles on it, mine had been swapped from the black to a cork and now has the T knob from my 2500 Luvi on it...
if its a bush version its just a matter of purchasing the bearing to swap it over.
any of the Aus stores that deal with RCS and after market components can do that...or im just lazy and get mine from PLAT in nippon

and a buck 12 ! noice score !

yeh unfortunately the old Fuego is riveted on jobbie. Best bet is to replaced the whole handle all together with some from the Caldia, Tierra or Sold range. They're all have bearings supported knobs. Otherwise you can get the ally round knobs that come with shafts, downside it you'll have to drill out the old shaft.

Try the former and see how you go.

yep your right, i must have swapped mine over ? just cant remembr doing it..
the original is the same as the Emeraldas and most of the TD-Z bodies, fixed are, hard mounted handle and a small screw to fix the handle into the crown with the dust cap over.

in that case as ricey suggested, just go for a new handle 50-55mm arm is about right unless you want a tiny one.
that way you can order what ever knob you want
