Thumbs up softbodz and tierra 1500

hey all new to the site just purchased a softbodz 7 foot 1-3 kg and a daiwa tierra 1500, havent had the chance to use them yet just wanted some feedback on how they perform and in terms of fireline im looking at crystal 4 pound any other suggestions would be appreciated if you think this may not be suitable. thanks

if you want to use crystal the dont go above 3lb
1 it flows a lot better being a biut thinner than the 4lb and
2 the rated braking strain is very under rated so a package rating of 3lb might be an average of 6-8lb.

as for the rest of the outfit, sounds like a winner , i ran a Tierra 2000 for about 2 years when they first came out, very reliable...

try something like the nitlon or the sunline super pe
i much prefer the suppleness of a true braid
not much more costwise than fireline for those two either

yes, yes i would.
IMO basshard is one of the best braids on the market, but also sunline and i also think Stren is better then fireline.

tierra are good reels for the price

like anything look after it and it will last for years.

You cant go wrong with the 3lb crystal, probly the best line to use if your starting out.
