Mt Henry ( Aquinas bay)

Gday, Has anyone heard any media reports about the algal bloom in the Mt Henry area recently?
Is it safe to fish the area ?
With the hi-tides in the last week you would think it would of flushed out with the tide or just broken down with the wind action etc - any comments!!
I haven't seen as much bird activity in the morning from the bus as was the case last week before all the rain set in were there where countless shags, pelicans and seagulls hugging the shoreline eating all the dead baitfish I presume.
Cant wait for another fish around here as its usually quite good this time of the year.

I think i read

Last week Sam went there and there was nothing about except fish floating on the surface dead or dieing. I would give the area a big miss for a while, you can find some action down stream if you try.
Regards Geoff
