i mainly use 250X size reels and i have all the spool sizes 2506, 2508 and 2500
on the finesse size, the 2506, which has the smallest capacity by far ive got 150m of 6lb braid with a few wraps of backing, which is more than enough and even when using it for other, larger species havent seen the backing yet while fishing
IMO even 100m is plenty for breamin and will be enough to get away with for most other fishing youll do ,sensibly , with a bream sized reel
and you should be able to get that with no dramas

I use 1000 series reels with about 110 meters of braid on them and have never come close to losing it even the 3 kilo snapper in the Nong was ok.

I cut a spool in half, generally 75 yards, wind that on a spool and top up with whatever I have around for backing to a couple of mil from full. Then sacrifice some to the gods of, you have filled it up too much, to the just right size .

I never had a fish run me down to the backing. Plus means you can buy a $90 spool of braid and fill two reels.

a few wraps of backing followed by topping up until the line is about 5mm from the edge of the spool or there abouts...
