7' is by far my most popular model and in addition working casually at the tackle shop the 7' models are always the No.1 seller...

I have both 6'6" and 7' rods. I find I use the 6'6" one more often as I tend to fish vertically in the docks a lot and the shorter rod helps. Agree with Perrie on the 7 foot rod being the most popular though.

BTW i totally see what you did there Rod... worthy of a smirk at best

I have a couple 7's, and a 6'6" but I find the 6'6" alot better for bream especially with plastics...
I find it allows me to get a sharper twitch on those placcies

I also have a 6'9 on my 3000 outfit and i think thats a perfect size.

G'day

I like 7foot rods to help with casting range, but i got a 6ft 6inch rod which i really like, I feel i can twitch sp's a bit better with it, but that might come down to responsiveness of the rod not the length?
All of my rods have been shortened due to ute tail gates, clumysness and a small boat with too many rods onboard! haha.
