Shoplifting - A warning to retailers

This is just a warning to other tackle store workers.

Over the past 4 weeks I have noticed a very dramatic increase in shoplifting. I would have normally put it down to the school holidays but some of the guys are well out of school.

Heres two incidents that stand out.

The first group I rejected was some young guys possibly 18 to 23, not sure what background maybe masso, one short guy, others average height, shaven/short hair/pony tails, and operated in a group of 3-5, one did all the lifting, the others worked as distractions. They did purchase some small items on the first day to throw suspission. But the second day was the clincher.
They can't be very well accomplished as fishermen, only lifting small products - swivels, lightsticks, rigs - small packet stuff, leaving the empty bags behind.

The other incident was a young guy, poss. 17, tan hair, caucasian, wearing hat, who was operating with an older asian bloke, maybe 25/28 wearing trousers ans black jacket. The asian guy did his own thing over one side while the young guy grabbed a couple of reels. Unfortunately I saw him trying to stuff the reels in his pants plus they were tagged anyway so he beeped on his way out. I chased the young guy and got the other reel back.
Don't know what the asian guy took.

All I'm getting at is for all you tackle shop guys keep an eye out. These pricks don't give a DohDohDohDoh.

Cheers,
Laith
