I'm looking at getting a new reel and just woundering what people think are a good value for money around the $400 $500 mark?

And what do people think of the Dawia sol's?

Mate, the SOL is a great reel. Oh so smooth just bloody fantastic. what sort of rod are u looking at putting it on? cos there is no point of having a 300 dollar reel on a 20 dollar rod... so if you havent got a rod in mind i would get the sol add the spare money to the money you have saved for the rod. and get an awesome rod possibly a hot rod

It will be going on a limted ed ABT sol rod.

for that money, i would go for the Luvias. its much lighter than sol but there is a $150 difference in price as well.

the rod answers your question, it will balance perfectly... and look good
