I dunno if you mean Yatesy's OLD Duffrods but he sold me a 7'6" which is alot lighter than most bream rods. What do ya recon Yatesy? Less than 60g?

duffrod i cant remember but you wont find a 7'6 lighter.

My old rods weighed 40g and 70g each. My new nitro vapour 6 footers are about 60g and the seven footers are 80g with the 6'6 in between. Matched up to the new sustains they are bloody light combos. No point fishing with a brick of a reel and a rod that feels like a steel bar in your hands....

just had a look at the carrot sticks. Good in theory but not in practicality. Think about a fish bite going from the lure, down the line, through the tip of the rod then going down to the butt end. Now if you hold your hand in front of the reel, you feel more because the reel wont absorb any vibration. But carrot sticks have the very limited grip behind the reel so your losing some of the feeling there. Cork vs EVA- well im no expert but i prefer cork and i prefer to be touching the rod somewhere too (reminds me I must customise my nitros)

And for that price US then add the cost of getting them here, you can probably get a hotrod, or nitro vapour or what ever you feel like getting.

And put me on the record for saying "ORANGE ROD! THAT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!"
