Smile Setting up boat for Breamming

Hi Guys,

I am hoping to get some advice on setting up my 525 Fraser for Bream fishing. I would like to put an electric on the bow and would welcome any suggestions, also is there a site that will advise me as to how to construct a live well tank that will be useable in the comps.

I know the boat may be a bit clunky compared to some of the smaller boats but can not afford two boats so want to adapt my current one, any advice is really welcome, have fished the Black wood with Rob Dawson on numerous ocassions and would like to do so out of my boat instead of Rob's.

i would look at a 80 to 100lb thrust bowmount if you dont need a full time livewell just use a 60 plus litre esky with an airator

Is it for the comps? ie live wells and such?

Had a few looks around on the net for pics, found nothing great, I think the most important thing will be getting a big leccy. Looks like it might be a bit heavy.

Does it have a flat spot on the bow for taking an electric motor? I think it was Tom on here that built a mount for his leccy, and he put some pics up in the forums.

Smile Boat set up

Yea I am more then likely going to have to set up a flat spot and yea will have to be a big electric, I ahve a dual battery set up and am planning on putting in a false floor that will incorporate rod storage and live well. I am also going to attempt to make this removeable, have about $4000 to play with. Not sure if it would be worth looking at a smaller boat for those kind of dollars.

I think in the end it is just easier having one boat. I contemplated getting a little sneak boat to drag into places I can't get my boat into, but going to get a canoe instead.

Plus if you have only $4k, alot of that will be taken up with by the leccy if memory serves me correctly.
