Rigging Sandworms

This has probably been asked before, but how do you guys rig your Gulp sandworms? I cut mine in half (to save lures and money ) the tail end seems more productive, more movement maybe?
Can whole ones can be rigged, maybe with a snelled stinger hook stuck in the back half of the worm or something?

Cut them into 3" pieces and just shape the end of the top half into a similar shape of the tail end. Or, rig a whole 6" with a stinger.

I prefer minnow head jigs for the worms, and being Gulp Sandworms, they are rather heavy, so I'd use 1/32 or resin heads. 1/22 on the odd occasion!

Good luck,
Rohan
