Not everyone dislikes Gulp

Not sure what the river system is like but just cover your based: 2" grub, 3" minnow, Gulp sandworms are good, may some squidgey critters and such.

I prefer size 4 jigheads, 1/20 1/16 1/8

For the nong mate its pretty simple:

Atomic Fat Grubs,
Squidgy Bugs, Wrigglers and Critters
if all else fails........ 6" Gulp Sandworm.

as for Jig Heads,

I use Nitro 1/24th and 1/16th oz with either size 4 or 2 hook, and squidgy resin heads in size 6 (i think) for the bugs

I cant recommend Hard Bodies enough for the nong,
ecogear sx40,
Jackall Chubby

a surface lure is handy like an ecogear px

and if you want to hit the bridges you'll need some baby vibes, and some metal blades (TT Switchblade, Ecogear VX35 for example)

Hope this helps mate

another one for the gulp new penny shrimp. Also squidgey flickbaits and powerbait minnows goes excellent. As for HB lures I'd have to say, halco scorpion, laser pro and the baby nightwalker which is my fav lure atm got love surface. also some other lures (if you wanna go top lures) are SX40 also the SX43 are good. Lucky craft lures and atomic hardz. and Cultiva mira shad are a top lure aswell for me. I can go all day about good lures but those lure are the stand outters. well hth

Fisho.
