Ricoh digitial camera

Hey, guys something you may be interested in if buying a digital camera. Ricoh have just released a water proof one with 3.34 mega pixel resolution. Could be a good idea for fishing. Expected retail is around $1300. See attached pic.

I have a Minolta APS (ie. non-digital) camera that has the same level of waterproofing (can use underwater down to 1m) which is great. I don't have to worry about it getting wet out in the boat.
I've destroyed too many cameras in the past by getting them wet, so this looks just the ticket for when I upgrade to a digital.

Have a look at http://www.ricoh.com.au/News/viewarticle.asp?NewsID=251

Cheers

James

The other thing is to get an underwater housing Jimi.

That is one of the reasons I bought the Canon S40. I then bought the housing and can use it for down to 30m. It's about an extra $280, but worth it.
