Pflueger Trion with new split grip any good?

Looking at a Pflueger Trion with the new split grip, 6.6 2-piece medium action model that's selling for $120. Reckon it's any good?

Thumbs up Re;-Pfleuger rod

I have many rods & have had more than plenty of rods.
I have a Pfleuger Trion,split grip & just love it 100% + more ;-)
Mine is a 7' one piece,2-4kg,& I just love it to bit's.It handles small 1000 reels to 3000 with ease & is more than capable of handling bigger fish with ease.
Be it at a river,or,out in the boat on the bay it handles everything so far.

"Don't delay,buy one today"

Gae.

Wink Good for you.

Honestly,I'm positive you'll never regret it ;-)
Good luck & let me know how you go please.
I like them better than G.Loomis rods & you can
save heaps of $$$'SSSS as well.
"Then you'll buy more" ;-)

I've got one and its a very nice rod, it casts little lures really well and belts out the larger ones with ease. Mine is matched with a Daiwa Exceller Plus 2000 and feels great.

Great Rod and probably the best value for $$$
Personally I would go for the 7ft over th 6'6" (others will differ)
But it just opens up more options land based.

Wink Great going.

Well good for you Ilovebreams ;-)

Now go fishing & give us a full report. They handle a 2500 Reel with ease too!!!
So,don't be afraid of chasing heavier fish, just use heavier braid & leader on a spare reel.

"ENJOY"

Gae.

I have an older version trion 2-4kg 6'6", and it is a very good rod. It handles heavier fish with ease. I also have a 1-3kg 7' split grip and it is a good rod. it might be a bit soft in the rear end but i caught a 4kg jew fish with it so it has strength to back it up.

However, i think the new split grip 2-4 in 7foot is the rod to have. it has soo much strength.

you wont be dissapointed.

i have a 6'6" 1 piece pflueger trion and has been the best bream rod i have purchased so far(cant comment on the loomis/miller rods as i havent used one as yet and would expect them to be better than the pfluegers for sure). Have had a couple of starlo stix and one bream raider but for some reason the trion has been a lot better for me. Good luck and enjoy!
