Thumbs up ...metal beats

...just sittin at the keyboard with a few tunes playing in the background...is it just me, or is the new Metallica album awesome...do the kids still say awesome...is that still cool

...heard Lars ages ago saying they were recording and it was gonna be more like the first albums blah, blah,blah...heard it before, then I heard Rick Rubin (Slayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, System of a Down, Audioslave Johnny Cash etc) was twiddling the knobs...he even made the Dixie Chicks sound good for f#&$sakes

...6 min instrumentals, 5 min guitar outro's...chog riffs 'n old school thrash...makes me wish I didn't have a prosthetic neck

...sory bout any confusion with them other metal beats...Im sure they're awesome too...do anglers still say awesome....

Talking

It's obviously good ey?

I saw them at festival hall on 'the and justice for all.... ' tour in the eighties or early nineties, then again at the Tennis centre on the black album tour from memory.

Awesome band live or recorded.

But Iron Maiden were hard to beat earlier this year at Rod Laver on the 'somewhere back in time tour', they only played songs from their heydays in the eighties, and as far as I'm concerned that metal was very hard to beat.

Def has some wicked tracks that'd sure make a fine soundtrack for your next production.

Unfortunately however, this post is sure to be removed as it clashes with the site-approved new release from Miley Cyrus (which I assume is now available at CA Nedlands?)...
That cynicism is definatley a result of being a punk fan 'f..k the system'

...I was hangin round some obscure record shop in Flinders Lane before the gig...just sipping on a cuppa when Lars walks in and plonks a wad of US bills on the counter and bought up all the metallica bootlegs in sight...and most of the bootlegs not in sight...on his recomendation, I reckon I drank Carlsberg elephant beer for the next 7 years...I might have ta bring the metal army clobber outta retirement...I've seen what damage it can do in the right hands

Isn't Ministry of Sound just a bunch of compilation albums made up by DJ's sampling other 'musicians' material

I just went onto Wikipadia and checked out Ministry of sound and I didn't like what I saw, especially the part about the NON ALCOHOLIC NIGHTCLUB......Ewwwwwwwwwww

Each to their own though. (ps Paul.... GO YOU MIGHTY CATTERS)
