Wild Walpole

Just arrived home from Walpole, the weather was less than desirable however the fishing was phenonimal, there are a lot of happy new guys.
On a sadder note the Assault duck (my Boat) took 2 direct hits from a rock and the jetty at Coalmine beach Whilst trying to get Kingpin and Steve Brown off to safety in a 4 foot swell . I punctured the hull on the for'ard starboard pontoon and put a dent as big as a soft ball in the aft starboard pontoon . She was coming off the water any way for a re-fit, not to mention Steve Brown snapped his Drop shot Loomis( I AM GETTIN ROD LOCKERS).
I am to stuffed to post pics will do in the morning
Geoff

DAMN!!!!!!!!

G'day Geoff,

Damn, sorry to hear about the boat.
It was it blowin its tits off wasnt it!!!!

I ended up beaching my boat next to the ramp, coz it was to rough to use the actual ramp itself. Lucky i had two others on board, it made the retreival a hell of a lot easier.

How'd u end up that day anyway, we heard Steve went for a bit of a swim?????

Anyway, if ur itchin for a fish and your boats still buggered, let us know, coz after walpole ive just been bitten by the breamin bug even harder!!!!

Hope the boat gets patched up soon.

Kingpin,

Good to hear u hit that river again mate, did u try any of the flats at the mouth????

Let us know if u wanna go for a fish, im busy this week, but the weekends lookin alright.

Cheers boys,

MATT

It is and was a top rig in all those conditions, not to mention when there was you, skivvs, davo and me in one of the sessions. Some top gortex top and bottom and you're set. The loomis is on it's way to get fixed all for $130, got to love their warranty eh. Thanks again bro and hope that Lisa's well.

Cheers Steve

ps Got a 43cm/1.13 kg on a prawn star shrimp from the Narrows this morning bro.
