|
good finesse breaming reel?
i am really confused now as which would make a good finesse breaming reel.
saltist gekkabijin (2004 size) luvias 1003 luvias 2004 certate 1500 emeraldas certate finesse ( bit xpensive for me but will get it if it's really that much better than other competitors) airity 2000 japanese 08 twinpower 2000S 08 biomaster MG? or any other outstanding ones that won't cost me a fortune?

the difference in the hand between the 1003 and 2004 sizes is very noticable...i personally would stick to a 1500/2000 size or variation (daiwa) as the larger spool diam. lets the line flow better over longer casts..IF you staying in close then the 1003 size is a winner, smaller real gives you a lot more control in the hand..i still have a set of Laguna 1000's AWSOME for small streams, or poking micro thingies into really tight structure, i only run 1 and 2kg mono and rarly 4lb FINS PRT on them...
so fromthat list the Gek, luvi 2004, or airity are pretty much what i woudl use and reccommend

go the luvi 2004 cause from what i've heard they are a great reel.

Hey kevin
Daiwa Airity fantastic reel, as it use to be one of the high end reel untill the Exist came out. However give Shimano TwinPower MG (the shallow spool model, dont know the symbol for it)a shot, as both reel are very smooth and great for what your using, and the fact that they are pretty light. Tri

The new Shimano Saros is a very nice reel as its a completly new reels. Quite a way below u're price range but u could get two :P My main attraction to them was the weight only being 200grams there really great to fish with. Mines been great really smooth and i've had no problems. Maybe something to keep in mind if u want more than one reel?

Check out the Daiwa Tierra 1500. I've got the 2000 model and I can't fault it! I love it!
