new custom rod:D
hey guys, recieved my new custom rod i had built up by ross van enckevort of "The RodWorks" a couple of days ago, went with the....
Hastings, p-ur70ul fuji ips split grip real seat fuji titanium sic stripper guide set of recoils and fuji titanium sic tip then to finish her off i went and baught a spanka steez which looks ahh so nice will be spooling her up with 4lb bass hard, been fishing with 6lb but thought why not try the 4lb.....pics dont do the rod justice but here they are

Great combo mate, but IMO stick with the 6lb... We've had a few tangles with the 4lb, but no trouble with the 6.

excellent choice ! great blank and great bloke to built it !
![]() the UL will fish 4 or 6 comfortable i tend to use 4 in close and medium and for distance or flats work jump to 6 as the 6 will handle the extra stress put on the line. using 4 in this situation, distance and with more affect buy the wind can give you a bad case of the 'Knot Nasties" errrrrr

theres always the bin if i get to many tangles haha.

I'd have to say Ross is a fine rod builder he does a fantastic job, he would be my choice of rod maker or Perrie, if i couldn't build them my self... Custom rods are and always will be my choice... Nice rod Gippy i have Gusa's too fantastic rods..
