Was wondering if anyone has a Makocraft Frenzy? have been thinking about buying one. Any feedback on these boats would be greatly appreciated.

There are a couple of write ups on their site. Dinghy World has a 6 metre one with 200+ on the back, I am sure they will take you for a spin. I think they even have a smaller version.

I have the pro ET, cant fault the build and I am sure it would be the same on the Frenzy. I also think the Frenzy would be less rough in the chop than my boat As a few people have found out I'm pretty sure DW have sold a couple, but I dont think to anyone on this forum from WA.

I can take you for a ride in the ET to see if you would like something a little bigger and faster

Should have the prop sorted by then, and scoot a little faster

WA boaters get serioulsy jipped on prices compared to eastern states, my tracker fully tournament ready was 25K and there is one available second hand for 23K now. No aussie boats in that size bracket with the same features came close to it in price.

If I were you mate I'd be packin a swag and going for a long drive, Albury - Bonegilla boat shop ask for Steve tell him James referred you and he'll look after you. Come to think of it, I work in the motor industry and I reckon you could transport a boat to WA for 1,000-1,500 ??? this could at least keep those WA Dealers on their toes?? I am from Melbourne and bought mine in Albury he was the best for price and service by a long way. If I had to decide out of all the other Makocraft dealers around Melbourne it would of been hard because they were all DohDohDohDohDohDohs! Way too dear, Rude, Didn't take me seriously and so many other reasons. My advice is keep ringing them, and try and find a bloke that is helpful. When you find someone that your happy to deal with make every other guy in WA give you a price first then go see the guy you want to buy it from then you will have some ammo when you go see him to buy one yourself.

Good Luck mate, PS phone number for Steve @ Bonegilla Boat Shop 0260206060.

Cheers.

G'day zipman,

I own a mako frenzy 470 with a 75hp etec with a side console and a 100ltr live well. it's a awesome boat, I've taken it off shore and it handles really well. The only problem with the boat is the flooring it is normal ply and not marine ply so my flooring is starting to swell and twist they didn't even paint the ply. But other then that Im happy with the boat.

I'd drive to the eastern states and back if someone paid for fuel and a lil bit extra could be a good road trip
