Latest Custom Stick

Just finished wrapping my latest creation, im happy with how it turned out considering how tricky it was doing the bindings on the tip section with one arm.

The blank is a Graphite USA (GUSA) Pionner UR70UL, 1-2kg

Bindings are done with gudebrod NCP size A thread in Cobolt blue and orange.

all handle components sourced from Matagi and then modified slightly by myself.

The split grip will have a tiger wrap in it, which is what you can see half completed in the pics.

i still have to do some burnishing so all those small gaps will dissapear and the wraps will look better afterwards, also gotta wipe down and get rid of all that dusty crap.

And i knocked up a little rod bag for it aswell to keep it safe.

cant wait to fish this one :woohoo: :woohoo:

Now off to do some burnishing i think.

oh and FYI the PUR70UL is a single helix not a GUSA (double helix) easy mistake...great blanks though...very popular...
