New Rod

Hey guys, i wrecked the foregrip on my rod today(cork sperated from reel seat tightener) and i thought it would be a good excuse to shout myself a half decent rod. Last rod cost $80

This is what i want in new rod.
Price: 200-500 dollars
Length: 6'6"-7'3"
Line Weight: 1-3kg or 2-4kg
Grips: EVA or Cork grips doesnt bother me. I would like ultra short butt like BD ones or split rear grip.

Find me my new rod guys

Cheers

Awesome special going at the moment, http://www.breammaster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21745
BD do the ultra short butt on this model, and there is also a 7' rod in the Clear Cut range as well now. The one inch butt is so sweet to use on a light rod. I have 2, and they get used way more than my other rods.
Cheers,
Andy

If you are willing to spend that much money, I would go custom and get exactly what you want, right down to the last detail.

HOTRODS has just finished building me a 7' 3kg bream rod with a custom cork grip. I will post up some pictures of it a little later to give you an idea of what I am talking about.

Egrell S1 (Bear or Egrell model) will suit you nicely. Definately worth a look!

Bigbreambos,

Since you mentioned you would like an ultra short butt like ours (which is our exclusive design) why not get a BD? At the moment I am offering the CC Plus with our Custom PLus (top level guides) as a free upgrade.

Bigbreambos,

The last sale they were $289 + 15 postage so I can offer that price again. The regular price of the CCPlus is 399. But this is an even better deal with the free upgrade of the Custom Plus guides that we had custom made for our previous top line rods.

I would look at getting a hastings blank done up, or even better go for one of the new nitro rods out. They would have to be the best $400 rod i have felt for a long time. Very sensitive, amazingly light and a very good taper for fishing plastics with.
