New Smith Dancing Bream
I was having a play with the new Smith dancing Bream rods today, must say its one of the most impressive rods i've felt for a while. Its very similar in action to the Daiwa Sagake. Anyone else seen them? Thoughts?

hrmm on paper it looks a tad heavy for Aussie breaming. Remember Japanese bream or "chinu" as they call them are massive, where they commonly take chinu 55cm+. They also target them with much bigger lures. well thats what a contact in Japan told me.
another interesting thing is that they catch whiting there, but they call them "kisu" however they only grow to 25-30cm. nonetheless a nice looking rod. cheers, Byron |
