Well lads seems as tho the lack of detail doesnt matter with fish just as I suspected.....

The metalbeats and palm balls performed very well indeed taking countless black and silver bream, flathead, flounder yes blowfish too.

All these pics are from my camera phone, and dror still has pics of the 1.12kg fish that I took from the narrows today on the brown coloured metalbeat. You wont believe just how many fish we landed on them over the saturday afternoon, plus two fish and a lost hookup in three casts today....

Curious to see if the bream down here at docks would hit them, the lack of bling shouldn't startle even the most finicky fish.

The amount of vibration the metal blades put out compared to baby vibes is unreal, the only thing they dont have is a rattle, but hey i reckon you dont need it

what's their weight and action like compared to the VX's ?

how were you fishin them Brad - slow lift and then drop like placcies ?

the blades seem to sink a lot faster than the baby vibes - good or bad thing ?

the fish shaped ones are 1.7g mate and the round nose ones 2.7g

the round nose ones have a wider action than the fish ones which are very tight. I reckon they actually do sink faster due to them being so slim. Definitely not a bad thing. Less affected by the current too it seems.

I let them sink, then hopped them back, or let them sit then lift vertically and let them settle again. All the takes came on the pause.

Spot on Stephen.We get a mixture of black bream and tarwhine in the lower reaches of the Swan.The bigger tarwhine pull like freight trains at times.Always disappointing to land in a comp as you always think its a good black, but great fun on a social fish.

Mark lm sure the lures wouldn't sit on the shelf if brought in mate.Had a look at them myself for the first time yesterday and they looked great.Love the small profile and so light.Had a look at the colour range available on the net and they have some sweet gold patterns which would go off this time of year.Do us lure junkies all a favour and get some soon...l need a "Beat" hit.

Well Brad seeing what came back from the narrows yesterday have me and Any convinced they are doing the Job. Getting a 1.2kg and couple others around the 750g mark in such a short session shows us they work very well.

Hey I have a lazer cutting division that can cut items like that and at that thickness? it may be a new line of buisness for us on the west coast.

I saw those little fellas in my Zipbaits catalouge aggges ago and was curious about where in Vic to get em, I was hopin to get a few before the mob got onto 'blade baits' but looks like I've missed the boat

....so anywhere in Vic stock em yet, or where else can we get 'em?
