hmmm well it is a goood intermedian for both lure fishing, the fireline will handle large flatties with ease, the 6lb fluro will be fine around the flats maby a bit heavy if the fish a finiky. whether its good for snags depends on what type of snags u are fishing

soo if u tell us wat snags u are fishing it will be easier to tell

but other then that if u are landbased i think that that is fine what rod and reel are u using?

Nothing wrong with that.

I tend to start with 4lb in the Swan but I have gone up to 8lb in heavy country in dirty water. Generally the clearer the water the light you have to go on the leader.

If you find the fish are not commiting to the lure and you are fishing 6lb, drop it down to 4lb and see if that makes a difference. Or if you are continually getting smashed upgrade the leader, and tell me where all the action is

Go the 4lb fireline and 6lb leader. This setup has pulled some really decent fish for me.
