favourite fishing destination?

for me it would have to be the gold coast in summer is just awsome.
casting surface lures and having litterally 20 fish sometimes more chase your lure is fantastic.
you can be casting stuff at bream ant the by catch is awsome. big trevally and jack are not uncommon and you pritty much get a few of these everytime you got out!
also the tweed river during winter this year was fantastic. throwing a 33-34cm bream as if it were nothing. 50% of the time on a good day your lure would not get to the bottem

Blackwood River WA for me, for mutiple reason's l guess.lt's close at hand(3hr's from Perth not messing around).lt is truly stunning too look at,the camping is great(open fire's and place's to pitch a tent). The structure, big timber wise it has no comparison and the fish give a good account for themselve's once hooked amongst it.The actual depth of the river is also a draw card, love bringing fish up from way down deep.lt is sheltered in the upper reaches and peacefull too.Feel like lve had a long weekend when l travel down on a Friday night. All good....

Steve.

Wyong River on the central coast of nsw or the mighty Hawksbury.
Ive never seen a another system like it theres every piece of structure you could think of and the sheer size of some of cliff faces is just awesome.

For me it would have to be exmouth in the northwest of WA. Can't wait to go back sometime this year.

Cheers
