Prized Lures

What happens to the lure that you catch the fish that you have been waiting your whole life for... do you keep using it or frame it of something? just curious to find out

Depends

If the fish is big enough and the lure has accounted for a number already then it will be retired....... Ive pulled retired lures off the wall and lost them the next day though, so I don't bother any more. Also they need to have racked up 50 plus fish now to be retired. Or a new PB..........

Ive only ever retired one lure, a crawdad laser pro 45 from a day on the Murray.........

I have tried to retire a skin deep or two but something fishlioke wanted it more than me.

So retirement now means 50 plus fish or a PB, or just no damn paint left and therefore deservent of retirement.

Some nice pics with lures included would be nice on a wall somewhere.......

G'day,
I have a prized Static shad that was one of the first lures I ever bought. It basically has no paint left on it and probbably has got no action left in it also. It caught my PB also, that's when it deserved it's place on the mantle LOL!

Apart from that one, every single lure gets used untill snagged beyong reach or a lure crunching machine steals it from me!

Nugget.
