How about a little bit more info.

Do you want the rod for hb or plastics?

Do you have a budget in mind?

What rod length do you like?

The more info the better.

sounds like a Black Diamond CC 6'6 1-3kg would do nicely..

One of the ClearCut Black Diamonds would be in your line.

They are all 1 piece rods only

for me.. the option of having a tailored rod vs an off-the-shelf was a big deciding factor in purchasing the Black Diamond... not many Shimano rod owners I know of have actually spoken with the people responsible for actually hand crafting their rod

that said.. the off-the-shelf rods listed are still nice sticks.. just not lovingly crafted like the Black Diamonds are...

just for the record - I have nothing to do with BD.. just a happy customer

I rate the T-Curves very highly, and the 702 is a good versitile stick, not too stiff, not too soft, SiC guides (big factor for me)....Never used a BD, but heard good things!
