Question ?koi?

does anybody know if this is true or not ?
is there koi in the upper canning ?
if so are they able to be caught on light gear ?
how ?

I have not seen them but did hear about them up near Kent Street Weir apparently they are quite large aswell.

i was told about them ages ago
aparantly you use koi pelets and a small hook

would they take a lure ?

yes I live close to kent st weir and their is big carp in the freshwater section of the weir. I was told to catch them with bread squeezed onto the hook, I dont think they take lures.
