Grey Dropshots?

I have seen these at my local tackle shop and the look fairly nice. Does any one have any feed back on them?
Ps could They be used for hbs?

I have one of these series 2 rods and have bought a second the same (7ft 2piece 1-3kg) although at DohDohDoh they are now a blue (have a DohDohDoh infront of the model number on the blank so assume it is a DohDohDoh special).

They have IM6 graphite blank listed on the specs, but I think the old dropshots were an IM6 blank as well so am guessong the only difference between the two series is in the grip fittings. I find the grip great, bulkier under the back of the casting hand then a standard reel seat which I think helps my casting accuracy.

Yep, both the grey one and DohDohDoh blue one have the bream on them. They are called a Dropshot Series 2 IM6.

No difference between the original dropshot, the series 2 or the DohDohDoh models, just a different colour paint on the blank. All are IM6. Just a marketing strategy to try and improve sales. Same old story, if one manufacturer changes the colour of a rod, then so does everyone else.

Different Grips on the series 2. They are the shaped grip where the cork goes over the top of the reel seat rather than the standard reel seat. I find them more comfortable.
